The Auburn Community Band is very proud to celebrate its 40th Anniversary in 2022. On May 20, 1982, the Auburn Community Band got together for the first time and made its first sound. We have never really tried to duplicate that sound, but have always strived to make our music better every year. This anniversary is one that we can be very proud of since it is rare that a Community Band will exist this long from a city of approximately 13,000 people. You usually see the higher anniversaries at the large cities. This band, however, just keeps going because we love to play music. We now have over 50 members!

We are called the Auburn Community Band, however, we have members from not only Auburn but from Angola, Avilla, Butler, Churubusco, Columbia City, Fort Wayne, Fremont, Garrett, Huntertown, Hudson, Kendallville, Pleasant Lake, and St. Joe.
If you are interested in playing with the band, we rehearse every Thursday night from 7-8:30 PM at the Auburn Church of the Nazarene, 2301 N Main St, Auburn IN 46706. There are no tryouts or dues. The requirement is that you love to play music. So, contact any member of the band check our website at acbindiana.org for information or open the Contact page on the website and send us your questions using the form. We would love to have you as a part of our group.
